You’re invited to the “Must go, must see, must-be there event”, the B’More Healthy Expo!
The Maryland Center of Excellence on Problem Gambling in partnership with The Maryland Council on Problem Gambling would like to invite you to join them at the B’More Healthy Expo this Saturday, March 1st from 10:00am to 5:00pm at the Baltimore Convention Center. Admission is free! Look for the Center’s booth across from the Gold’s Gym exhibit in Hall C.
The B’More Healthy Expo offers health screenings, information, workouts, family activities, interactive exhibits, three stages of live entertainment, Fit and Fun Kids Zone, sports and Coaches Corner, safety and injury prevention, “Let’s Play!” Zone, personal care, travel and leisure, outdoor recreation, healthy home displays, pet health pavilion…..something for every age, every interest, every member of the family!
In Maryland, 90% of residents gamble, and over 150,000 residents struggle with a gambling problem. Last year’s B’More Healthy Expo event attract over 30,000 people. These numbers suggest a significant number of these attendees will be affected by problem gambling.
