The Center held its 7thAnnual Maryland Conference on Problem Gambling on Friday, June 14, 2019 at the BWI Airport Marriott. Over 380 Maryland state and local policy makers, community leaders and behavioral health providers came together for this one day, free-of-charge conference that focused on Creating Connections for Help and Hope. The conference, funded by the Maryland Department of Health’s Behavioral Health Administration, provided an educational opportunity on national and local initiatives covering prevention, treatment, peer recovery and research.
The Center offers a sincere “thank you” to all who attended and participated, with a special note to the 16 Community Resource Organizations and the three Research Poster Sessions, for their continued commitment in Gambling/Problem Gambling prevention, treatment, recovery and research.
